COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics Timetable in Newham

We are aware that some people are receiving suspicious calls and text messages offering the COVID-19 vaccination.

Coronavirus vaccines are only available on the NHS. You can be contacted by the NHS, your employer, or a GP surgery local to you, to receive your vaccine. Remember, the vaccine is free of charge. At no point will you be asked to pay.

  • The NHS will never ask you for your bank account or card details.
  • The NHS will never ask you for your PIN or banking password.
  • The NHS will never arrive unannounced at your home to administer the vaccine.
  • The NHS will never ask you to prove your identity by sending copies of personal documents such as your passport, driving licence, bills or pay slips.

If you receive a call you believe to be fraudulent, hang up. If you believe you have been the victim of fraud or identity theft you should report this directly to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. Where the victim is vulnerable, and particularly if you are worried that someone has or might come to your house, report it to the Police online or by calling 101.

Can the practice provide a proof of vaccination?

No. We cannot provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status.

You can get your vaccination status in digital or paper format from the NHS.

This service will go live on Monday 17 May and will be available on the NHS app or by calling the NHS helpline on 119 to request a letter.

Will the NHS app / My GP app automatically show my vaccine status?

Yes. Once you’ve had a full course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses), the NHS app / My GP app will display your proof of vaccination.

You may need to update to the latest version of the NHS app and set up an NHS login.

Can I get a letter posted?

Yes. If you do not have access to a smartphone, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 (from 17 May) and ask for a letter to be posted to you.

They’ll send the letter to the address you have registered with us – you will need to call us to update your contact details if you have moved.

Please note that you will need to be residing in the E15 postcode area to be registered at Stratford Health Centre or E7 postcode area to be registered at The Forest Practice.
